We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership with Dorico, the industry-leading notation software, to launch a comprehensive free video game music course for secondary level students.

This course provides a structured framework that utilises Dorico’s professional features to help students develop the essential technical and creative skills required for scoring.

What does the course include?

The course focuses on video game themes and takes students through a step-by-step method for composing their own fantasy game theme, as well as a ‘sting’ for signalling an event in the game.

Course includes:

  • Free access to Dorico notation software for every student
  • Handy project guide to download
  • Dorico project template to download
  • Video content
  • Audio examples

Students have the opportunity to use Dorico notation software, but can compose their game theme on a DAW or other notation programme if they would prefer.
