This pack is suitable for KS3 pupils (11 -14 years) and the 5-mark Stretch and Challenge question also makes it suitable for GCSE level (or equivalent) students.
Each sheet focuses on different pieces of descriptive music, linked by theme. Pupils are required to listen to a piece of music on YouTube or Spotify and answer questions relating to the given music.
Pupils can access the music clip either by scanning the QR code on the sheet or following the link given.
Each sheet is marked out of 15 in total and encourages pupils to use level-appropriate technical terms. The first section consists of shorter questions, totalling 10 marks and the 5 mark ‘stretch and challenge’ question requires a longer answer.
